Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Shimla

Depart for Shimla in the morning from Delhi. Shimla is located at a height of 7000 feet above the sea level. It is a blend of green orchards and chilling mountains. On arrival at Shimla, check in the hotel and freshen up. Spend full day sightseeing in the city and the tour begins with The Ridge, which is famous for its Gothic Structures. Then visit Lakkar Bazaar, famous for various wood crafts, which make ideal gifts and souvenirs. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 2: Sightseeing at Shimla

After breakfast, the tour of Shimla begins with visiting famous temples namely Kalaba Devi Temple, Jakhu Temple and Hanuman Temple. On the way you can also visit Christ Church, the oldest church in Shimla constructed in 1850. You can go for Kufri, which is 30 min away from Shimla. In Kufri you can enjoy various picturesque places, like snow capped mountains, serene forests and a wide variety of flora and fauna. In evening return back to Shimla and enjoy overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3: Shimla to Manali (360 km/10hrs)

After breakfast, start your journey to Manali-the valley of Gods, by road. This place is a blend of cultural heritage and natural beauty. On arrival at Manali, check in the hotel and relax. Enjoy overnight stay in hotel.

Day 4: Sightseeing at Manali

Begin your tour by visiting Buddhist Monastery, which has been constructed recently. You will visit Hadimba Temple, dedicated to Bhimas wife Hadimba from Mahabharata. It is an interesting temple to visit because it is situated in serene forests. Vashist is another beautiful place you can visit, where you can see hot baths of natural sulphur spring, which is now piped into modern day bath house. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Manali.

Day 5: Manali to Rohtang Pass (payable by the customer)

Spend full day enjoying pleasant sights of glaciers, along with remarkable mountains of Rohtang Pass. You can enjoy climbing up small snow covered hills of this heaven. While returning back to Manali you can view beautiful places like Marhi, Solang valley, Rahalla falls and Nehru Kund. Enjoy overnight stay in Manali.

Day 6: Manali to Dharamshala (225km/8hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Dharamshala by road. On arrival at Dharamshala, check in the hotel and freshen up. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 7: Dharamshala to Dalhousie (95km/4hrs)

In morning, check out from the hotel after breakfast and leave for Dalhousie, situated at a height of 2039 meters on the outer slopes of Dhauladhar. It is a picturesque place boasting of natural beauty and stunning surroundings. You can enjoy rest of the day relaxing and shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Dalhousie-Khajjiar-Dalhousie

Spend full day in Khajjiar, which is a spectacular plateau shaped like a saucer and located 18 km away from Dalhousie. It has a small lake in the center, with a floating Island in the middle. It is surrounded by serene and dense pine and deodar forests. You can also play golf, as it has a golf course with 9 holes. Return to the hotel in Dalhousie at evening for overnight stay.

Day 9: Dalhousie to Amritsar (191 km/5 hrs)

After early breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Amritsar. On arrival at Amritsar, check in the hotel and freshen up. Start you tour by visiting Wagah border to observe Flag Retreat Ceremony. It is an army settlement on Indo-Pak border, which is 30 km away from Amritsar. Beating the Retreat ceremony is the main highlight held here every evening. In this ceremony the soldiers from both the countries perform a perfect drill, marching towards their respective flags to bring them down. As the sun goes down, the lights are switched on indicating the ending of the day. Return to the hotel in evening for overnight stay.

Day 10: Sightseeing at Amritsar

In the morning start your tour by visiting Golden Temple and taking the blessings of almighty. It is the most important and famous Sikh shrine, symbolizing the historical and spiritual traditions of Sikhs. Later visit Jallianwala Bagh where hundreds of unarmed civilians were killed when fire was opened by Gurkha and British soldiers on 13th April, 1919. After having lunch, visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum, located in the center of Ram Bagh, Amritsar. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Amritsar.

Day 11: Departure

After checking out from the hotel, our representative will drop you at the airport/railway station.
