Location: A not to miss attraction near Kasauli, Mughal Gardens are located at a distance of around 22 km from Chandigarh and just 14 km from Pinjore.

Description: This Mughal style garden is somewhat similar to the Charbagh garden in Kashmir. This magnificent garden was designed by Nawab Fidai Khan, who was the cousin of Aurangzeb. In the year 1966, the garden was handed over to Haryana Government. The garden displays a rectilinear arrangement within walled premises. Mughal Garden, which is also known as the Pinjore Garden, has a number of pools, cascades and canals. The walls of this garden are engraved with references from Quran to heaven, besides the worldly allusion of numeric illustration of eight and nine carved on terraces and other places. Made on a slope, it is adorned beautifully with fountains.

Activities: A waterway runs in the heart of the garden and is adorned with numerous fountains. On both the sides of the conduit are pathways which are lined with verdant trees and are just ideal for walks. The garden covers an area of around 100 acres, has an affluent diversity of vivid flowers, lush grass and quite a lot of trees, which are sure to mesmerize its visitors.
