Location: The Mall Road, being located centrally, is the busiest street of Kasauli. The Mall runs from Christ Church and continues till the Monkey Point. It has been divided into two sections, one is called the Upper Mall and the other one is called Lower Mall.
Description: Both the upper and the lower mall make an ideal place to indulge in shopping. One can find lots of small local shops from where you can buy gifts or souvenirs for your near and dear ones. It is a great place for shoppers as bargaining is easy. The Mall can be easily reached by local cabs or you can take a walk, if you are staying in a nearby hotel or lodge. Upper Mall does not allow vehicles in its premises. One can take a complete look in and around the Mall Road in approximately two to three hours. In the proximity of the Mall Road are a few places of interest that can be visited. One is the cantonment area, named Subathu, which is home to the majestic Gurkha fort. Dharampur, an attractive small settlement is also worth visiting.
Activities: The visitors can indulge in shopping and visit local food joints offering different delicacies. One can roam around in the famous Tibetan market and old bazaar to pick up shawls, carpets, handicrafts, etc.
