The Kurinji Andavar temple is dedicated in the honor of the deity and god Morgan who is known as the God of the hills as per the Tamil culture and literature. Kurinji means hilly area and Andavarsignifies the almighty. The temple is nestled about 5 kms from the bus stop. The attraction of this temple aggravates in the month of May with the Summer Festival celebrated by the locals very year.
