Location: This Mosque is positioned at Kuttichira in Kozhikode. Local people also know this mosque as Jama Palli.
Description: Juma Masjidwas built in the 14th century. It is a spacious mosque and can easily accommodate around 1000 worshippers at a time. Kerala style of architecture has been followed in order to build this mosque. The ceilings of this masjid have been carved beautifully. People belonging to Muslim community are allowed to enter this Masjid, while people from other religions are prohibited from entering this mosque. Juma Masjid of Kozhikode is an ancient place of worship and because of its religious significance and pious environs it is visited by a number of devotees. Fridays witness a huge crowd as Muslims from different nooks and corners of Kozhikode visit this mosque to offer prayers to Allah and take his blessings.
