Established in 1905 by a Methodist, the CSI Wesley Church is located in Royapettah area of Egmore. This church became a part of Church of South India, Madras Diocese later. The Sunday mass held here regularly witnesses a huge rush, as devotees from far off areas mark their visit on this day.
During the week, various activities such as women’s fellowship, men’s fellowship, prayer fellowship and the choir are conducted by the church and people can take part in any fellowship program. Tourists can receive god’s grace by praying to him. This church preaches that god loves everyone, therefore anybody can pray to him.
This is a must visit place for Christians as they can get familiar with the roots of Christianity and can also read bible and follow what it preaches. By reading the teachings of Jesus Christ, people can get to know god more closely.
