The Rukmini Devi museum is located in Besant Nagar which is a suburb of Chennai. This museum is dedicated to the founder of the Kalakshetra Campus which is an important art hub in South India, Rukmini Devi Arundale. This museum is a showcase of all the various things which were collected by Rukmini Devi on her travels or objects which were gifted to her by friends and family, given her well known love for all things artistic. Tourists who visit this place will have the opportunity to learn a great deal about her through the various personal items of hers which are on display.
