Madras High Court building has been constructed with red sandstone. The building is located at Parry’s Corner and is near to St. George Fort. This court was constructed in the last decade of 19th century and has great historical importance. It is a very big judicial complex and ranks as second largest in the world. The height of the central tower is 165 feet. This court remains open for public an all days, except Sundays and holidays and the timings are from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM.  This is an old and large structure and serves as a blend of art of two different cultures, so it is worth watching. Tourists visiting Chennai should go there and see the building to witness the art and culture of the previous century. This court attracts visitors from all over India and serves as one of the major attractions of Chennai and even the entire Tamil Nadu state.
