There is a very famous Shri Venkateshwara temple which is situated very high in Thirumalai. This habitat is the most celebrated for lord Vishnu and situated on the seventh peak of hills known as Venkata of Tirumala Hillocks. According to Hindu mythology the only way of attaining Moksha is to worship Shri Venkateshwara. There are images of Krishnadevaraya, Vijayanagara king and his companions, along with Akbar’s minister Todarmal. It also has 3 parakramas and the banner pole. There is always a heavy rush of visitors who want to have a look at the temple, but a separate entry has been given to old and physically challenged people. This is a world famous temple and gives you the blessings without any distinction of caste or religion.
