Prakasam Salai is Chennai’s significant milestone, built in 1795. It is located opposite parry’s corner. It is a very well designed extraordinary building in Indo-Saracen style with magnificence red bricks. It was earlier known as Popham's Broadway, which is a reserve off George Town. It has a bunch of old places of worship, which include Kandaswamy Koil, Tucker's Church, a Wesleyan Chapel and the Anderson's Church. The architectural spectacular and ecological standards are greatly treasured here. It is one of the best places to visit in Chennai.
