ISKON temple is situated in Injambakkam region in Thyagaray Nagar. This temple is established by ISKCON society and is very well known for the worship of Lord Krishna. It is made in the modern style with a blend of Indian tradition and values, along with the latest scientific technology. This temple spreads the teachings of Lord Krishna and is the starting point of values and the tradition spread with the name of Lord Sri Krishna Chaitanya. The image of holy Satyabhama, who was the eighth wife of Lord Krishna, is also placed inside the temple. There are other deities who are worshipped in this temple which include Jagannath, Baladeva, Subhadra and Gaura-Nitai. The ISKON temple of Chennai exhibits the art, tradition and culture of South India.
