Ashta Lakshmi Temple is a respected place of worship located in Basant Nagar on the shores of Bay of Bengal. It is a very uniquely constructed temple which has four levels. You will not find much similarity with other south Indian temples as it is a modern construction, built not before than 25 years. This is famous for the goddess Laksmi and Bhagwan Vishnu’s divinity. The temple has various places of worship of different forms of Ashtalakshmi. It is also well known temple for divinity of Dasavathars (the 10 incarnations) of Lord Vishnu. There are other divine gods adoration here, which include Tumbikai Aazhwar (Lord Ganesha), Guruvaayurappan (Lord Krishna), Chakrathaazhwar and Narasimha (on either side of the same idol), Anjaneyar (Lord Hanuman) and Dhanvantri. People visit this temple to be blessed with complete well being.
