Nadukani, situated at an altitude of 3000 ft, is a charming hill station in Idukki district. Located around 25 km from Idukki, Nadukani offers panoramic view of the blue mountains in the north and the Muvattupuzha River on the other side.
The Moolamattom underground power station is another attraction close to Nadukani. Being one of the boundaries of the Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary, one can also get a glimpse of many rare species of fauna, such as hornbill, wild rabbits, sambhar, jungle mainah and elephants. It is best visited from October to January.
