The Hinkar Tirtha is a world famous Jain temple, located in the Mangalagiri Mountains in Vijayawada in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. The worshippers of this temple consider that the blessings that they receive from this temple are indeed sacred and holy and many worshippers seek shelter within the temple. It is one of the largest places of Jain pilgrimage within that area.
The temple has been constructed in the Jain style architecture and highlights the glorified past of Jainism and is thereby a place worth seeing.
