Built by Sardar Odhekar Peshwa in 1782, the main deities here are of Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshmana. The dome of copper which is gold plated and the other sculptures of this magnificent shrine reflect the beautiful structural quality it is known for. Built in black stone, this 70 feet high temple happens to be one of the busiest temples in the locality.
This huge structure becomes extremely lively during the festive season of Ramnavami, Dushera and Chaitra Padwa. With grand processions and an splendid floral decor, it is a gorgeous sight to see. In this temple, the premises also consist of small shrines dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Lord Vithala and Lord Ganesha.
