The Mogalarajapuram Caves are situated with close vicinity of Vijayawada and is particularly well known for three cave temple that is believed to have been built in the 5th century. Of the three cave temples the one of them has been beautified with amazing carving of Ardhanariswara that is seen as one of its kind all over south India. These temples have carved idols of Lord Vinayaka and Lord Shiva in the form of Natraja and are very prominent temple for viewing and knowing the ancient culture and style of living.
