Description: Karma Dupgyud Choeling Monastery is a world famous Buddhist monastery and it is run by a sect of Tibetan Buddhists, known as Karmapa. Karmapa is the honorific title given to a person who carries out the activities of Buddhas. Presently, there are a total of 17 Karmapas. Tibetan Buddhism is well propagated by this monastery and it also works for preserving the traditional Buddhist culture. Innumerable Buddhist followers have joined the training centre of this monastery, as they spend their time to understand and follow teachings of Karmapa of this Gompa. This Monastery is really a manifestation of ancient art and culture, besides propagating religious teachings. Buddhism is a religion which teaches peace and non violence. The teachings of the Karmapas also lead to attaining the same goal. Peace is the primary factor for achieving tranquility and the person who is able to attain peace of mind and tranquility is supposed to have conquered the entire world.
