This monastery serves as a house for several shrines, including Tsangyu-lang, Kangyu-lang etc. Hundreds of Tibetan and Mongolian texts are available in the temple store house. A legend says that a demon Mongol used to live here, who disliked Buddhism and was a bitter enemy of the religion. Apart from all this the monastery has been built as a great piece of art that is really worth a watch.
