This is a small temple located on the banks of Mirik Lake and serves as one of the most popular places in Mirik which is visited by a large number of people. Set among the dense green Dhupi forest, the presiding deity of this temple is goddess Singha Devi. This place is at a distance of 54 kilometers from Siliguri that is considered as the second largest commercial city of the state of West Bengal and witnesses a large rush of people. There exist many small temples dedicated to various gods at the banks of the same lake and the temples are of Lord Shiva, Goddess Kali, and Lord Hanuman. Mirik also serves as a very good picnic spot and quite a number of people come here on excursion. The beautiful Lake and the comfortable atmosphere attract the tourists.
