Located at 1914m over the sea level, Dello Hill is a marvelous spot dominating the picturesque town of Kalimpong. One can have a nice view of the surroundings from this hill. This small suburb is located at a distance of 7kilometers from the Kalimpong. Strategically located, it offers mesmerizing views of the Teesta valley and the exalted Kanchenjunga range. A fascinating view of the sunrise can be witnessed at Dello Hill. This hill has been used by many filmmakers as a shooting location and it is estimated that this place has been used to shoot 50 plus movies. Dello Hill is a vast plateau having dry mural open gardens with pine trees around the edges and a beautiful properly maintained lawn. Very near to the Dello Hill is a Hindu temple of Lord Hanuman, a site for bird watching, the statue of Lord Buddha, Sherpa View point and Army Golf Course.
