A sage, Siddh appeared in the dream of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh and advised him that the site on which he had created this palace is a sacred land and not a residential place. It is the place where he meditated for a long time. This is how the Maharaja came to know about the actual significance of this place and hence constructed the shrine, dedicating it to Siddh Baba. The shrine is a truly magical place, which keeps attracting huge number of devotees with its legend and majestic location.
