Managed under the supervision of Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Zoo, the Everest Museum houses various Mountaineering Equipments which were used by famous mountaineers to successfully scale the majestic Mount Everest. It also houses some specimens of flora and fauna of the Himalayan region. This place is full of photographs and memorabilia of all those people, who have climbed the mighty mountain successfully.
This museum is a not to miss attraction for adventure lovers as it displays different mountaineering gears, such as special clothes, climbing tools, camping gear and much more. To reach this museum, a person has to enter through the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Zoo. This institute is well known for training mountaineers who want to scale new heights.
The director of this institute is a mountaineer who conquered the Everest, Sherpa Tenzing Norgay with Edmund Hillary. Statue of the director, who died in the year 1896, stands tall near the cremation spot.
