This museum is at a short distance from Chowrashtra. An illustrative and complete collection of Himalayan and Bengali wildlife is presented in this museum. More than 4300 snippets are housed by this museum. Most of the animals dwelling in Eastern Himalayas; reptiles and birds have been displayed as close to their real life altitudes as possible. There are specimens of other creatures also like the beetle and butterflies. A special breed of crocodile, named the estuarine crocodile, which is considered responsible for killing various human beings in the Asian continent, also finds its specimen here. Quite a number of stones have their mineral forms displayed at this place. This museum can be visited on all days, except Thursdays and the working hours are from 10am in the morning to 4pm. This is an interesting and informative museum where one gains knowledge about various creatures; moreover the beauty of this museum is a delight to the eyes.
