Situated over two well known rivers, Relli River and Teesta River, Samco Ropeway is around 1.5 km long. To help the Lepcha people in crossing over to the Samthar Suruk area, the Christian missionaries built this ropeway. An ease of access was provided by it and people could comfortably travel to the beautiful Samthar valley, as well as to the nearby villages.
