St. Theresa Church is an ancient church that is thought to be constructed by the local craftsmen. The appearance of this church is same as that of the monasteries. A rare view of the architectural design of Tibet can be witnessed in the church’s design. Inscriptions and paintings of Biblical themes are present on the church walls, which portray scenes of biblical characters that are identical to Buddhist monks.
The location of the church is such that one can get a picturesque view of Himalayan ranges that are far away. Quite a number of devotees are attracted by the spiritual atmosphere of this church and a number of people can be seen visiting this church. It is very special for the people of Christian community, because of the religious significance attached to it. People come here from all over the region to offer prayers and take blessings from the divine.
