Location: Ross Hill is a pilgrim destination which is located at a distance of 17 km from the beautiful city of Visakhapatnam.

Description: Ross Hill, also called as Kanyamary Konda is a famous shrine which is dedicated to Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. During 1864, an Englishman, Mr. Ross, constructed his bungalow on the hill top. This house was later on converted into a catholic chapel and was named as Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Dedicated to three faiths, pilgrims in large number throng this destination. This hill houses a temple, a church and a mosque. The path that leads to the church is decorated with catholic images and icons. The mother Mary’s church present atop the hill offers a panoramic view of the surroundings.

Activities: Tourists visiting this destination can mark a visit to the temple dedicated to Sri Venkateshwara Konda to seek his blessings. From the hill, tourists can enjoy a splendid view of different beaches, Visakhapatnam port and ship building yard. Travelers can mark a visit to this destination all around the year; however a visit during the months of October to March is the most preferred. During this period the temperature remains within comfortable ranges, making the trip more enjoyable.
