Description: The architecture of the fort gives a glimpse of the life of royals, who ruled this place in the historic era. According to archeological evidences, the fort was established in the year 1657 by Maharaja Shivaji. The fort houses small caves, along with some fresh water ponds. After covering 100 steps, visitors are welcomed by 2 beautifully decorated entrances. Adventure lovers can reach this fort through an alternative way which passes through short steps, bamboo trees and dense forest.
