Located in Hebatpur, on the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, Gujarat Science City was established by the Gujarat government for students to trigger their attention towards technology and science with the help of entertainment and tentative facts.
The idea behind creating this retreat for tourists is to enhance their ability to better understand the role of science and technology through imaginative exhibits. Presently the center hosts a science hall, musical dancing fountain, 3D theater as well as simulation rides, which interests visitors the most. For students there is a special provision to help them prepare for their science exam. Moreover a program named ‘Vacation Training Program on Bio-resources’ was initiated in schools by the Science city to encourage use of bio-resources with the help of government resources.
The project has managed to keep the tourists enthralled with its scientific extravaganza and has contributed immensely in spreading awareness and making them capable enough to better understand importance of our ecology.
