Location: Flanked by the famous Khwaja Bazaar in Srinagar, Khanqah of Khwaja Moinuddin Naqsbandi is one of the major religious attractions of Jammu and Kashmir.
Description: Khanqah of Khwaja Moinuddin Naqsbandi, also famed by the name Naqshband Shrine, is visited by lacks of devotees all through the year. Moi-e-Muqaddas, a sacred hair of Prophet Mohammad was kept here but later on moved to Hazratbal Mosque not very far from the shrine. Founded by Khwaja Khawand Mehmood Naqsbandi in 1433, enormous amount of money was spent on building this glorious shrine during the empire of great emperor Shah Jahan.
