Description: Hari Parbat Fort is an ancient Mughal Fort that dates back to 18th century. During the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar, this fort was constructed in the year 1590. It is believed that an Afghan Governor, Atta Mohammad Khan was the one who built this impressive structure of Mughal era. It was the residence of Mughal families; hence the best architecture was used to enhance the glory of this fort. One should not miss the chance to visit Hari Parbat Fort which is unlike any other fort in the world. Strategically set on the top of Hari cliff, the fort is of great historical significance. To view this amazing edifice you need to get special permission from the State Archaeological Department, which is responsible for the supervision and maintenance of this fort.
