Located at a distance of around 41 kilometers from Dharamsala is the charming little town of Trilokpur. This place is famous for Mahamaya Bala Sundari temple and plenty of other places, like the cave temple of Trilokpur devoted to Lord Shiva which is a marvelous tourist attraction. The stalactite and stalagmite formations present here contribute in increase the fame of this temple. One can witness remains of a palace on the ridge of the cave. This palace was owned by Lehna Singh Majithia, who was the governor of Kangra during the Sikh rule. Road links to this place are well established and one can easily reach this place by hiring a taxi. March and September are the most favorable months to visit this place because these months witness the annual fair which is held with extraordinary solemnity and presentation. Some other attractions near this temple are the Shiv Mandir and Dhyanu Bhagat temple.
