Sherbling monastery is a huge and impressive monastery which comes under the Palampur region and this monastery is located in the midst of the hills. Sherbling monastery is famous for having a big statue of Lord Buddha which attracts maximum tourists to this place. Huge structures bound by lush greenery all around really offer a fascinating view. This monastery is well liked by the people because it is the sacred home of Tai Siti Rimpoche, the most respected personality in the Buddhist sect. Every afternoon between 2 pm to 4pm the head monk or Rimpoche gives his darshan to the inmates, as well as visitors and blesses them. Sherbling monastery is frequently visited by pilgrims who are followers of Buddhism and people come here seeking peace and tranquility in the mountains.
