Dhauladhar Ranges are considered as one of the main tourist attractions in the district of Kangra. This range forms a part of the outer Himalayas which rise towards Mandi and North of Kangra. Tourists can enjoy trekking in this region and enjoy the charming beauty of this place. The highest peak of this mountain range is White Mountain or Hanuman-Ka-Tiba. Popularly known as the outer Himalayas, this range starts from Dalhousie and stretches over the areas that fall near the shores of River Beas in Kullu region of the state of Himachal Pradesh. This range has a varying altitude, ranging from 3500 to 6000m, over the sea level. Visitors coming to this place can enjoy witnessing the fascinating views of the mountains from the Kangra valley. These ranges are considered to be world famous and contain a lot of natural resources, like sandstone, limestone, slate and lots of granite.
