Tsuglagkhang Complex is located towards the south of the Mcleodganj town and it is the dwelling place of the Tibetan religious leader, Dalai Lama. A part of this holy place is the Namgyal monastery and a large number of pilgrims visit this monastery to take blessings of the great religious leader. The entire monastery, except the monk’s accommodation, is open for common people. Meeting Dalai Lama is not an easy thing to do but some pilgrims fortunately get the chance to meet the religious head. In addition to this one can view paintings that are present here which portray many Tibetan leaders and their stories. There are a number of temples and stupas that can be explored. Besides this there is a museum, a café and a bookshop providing an ideal environment to tourists who come here from all parts of the world. This monastery is easily accessible and is a great asset for Mcleodganj.
