Kaleshwar Mahadev temple is a well known temple in the district of Kangra, located at a distance of 8 kilometers from Paragpur village. The temple is an ancient building and is devoted to Lord Shiva. The decoration of the walls of this temple is done with beautiful casts. This temple is famous for its Shiv lingam, which is located much beneath the ground level. Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple is also named as Maha Rudra of Mata Chintapurani. The temple remains over crowded during the occasions of Shivratri and Shravan Maas. Devotees from all over India visit this place throughout the year. Although this temple is located in a small village, but there is good provision of accommodations where tourists and devotees can stay. Buses and taxis are available from a place called Sadba, which is 7 kilometers away from Kaleshwar temple, thus making it very easy to each this place.
