Kangra Art Museum is located at Kotwali Bazaar, which is considered the busiest area in Dharamsala. This museum is considered special and displays the relics of Buddhist and Tibetan cultures. The museum serves as a treasure trove of the Kangra valley’s culture, crafts, arts and other artifacts used in ancient times. Kangra Museum surrounds a gallery comprising of paintings of Kangra’s affluent past, sculptures, pottery, anthropological materials and a rare coin memorabilia. Tourists can board a bus or hire a taxi to visit this museum and one can see the entire museum in less than 1 hour. Kotwali bazaar also serves as an additional attraction of this place, where tourists can indulge in shopping of local goods.
