Location: Located to the south of Spiti valley in Himachal Pradesh, Pin Valley National Park was declared as a national park in the year 1987. This park lies in the cold desert area of the district.
Description: Spread over an area of 1875 sq km,this park is known as the land of Snow Leopards and Siberian Ibex. This national park boasts of its snow covered slopes and unexplored regions. Nature enthusiasts will love a trip to this place as rare varieties of flora and fauna can be seen at this place. Bird lovers can enjoy seeing some of the rare species of birds, such as Chukor, Tibet Snow Finch, Himalayan Snowcock and Snow Partridge, at this national park. Tourists can stay at these accommodations which are provided at Mud Farka. A must do activity is to stay at the bunkers that are constructed to give the visitors a unique experience. To help the visitors, potters and local guides are always available in the periphery of the park.
