Location: Located at an altitude of 3223 meter above the sea level, Jalori Pass lies at a distance of 75 km from the beautiful hill station, Kullu. This pass is famous for connecting Rampur with Kullu Valley and can be easily accessed by road from another well known hill station, Shimla.
Description: The Jalori Pass is believed to be the boundary of the Seraj valley. From this point, a person can view the inner, as well as the outer Seraj valley, at the same time. Adventure lovers can trek across this pass, while other adventure activities, such as bike riding and hiking, can also be enjoyed by the travelers at this place. Carved out of mountain ranges, a new man-made Jalori pass is present below the old pass. This majestic pass is engulfed by thick forest and houses pheasants and Himalayan bear.
Activities: People who are religiously inclined can mark a visit to the temple which is present at the top of this famous pass. With the presence of a restaurant, tourists can relish some local as well as other cuisines that are served piping hot. These restaurants also pack the food that can be taken along by the visitors.
