Location: Encircling two districts of Chittoor and Cuddapah, Sri Venkateswara National Park is spread over an area of 87,000 acres with several valleys, waterfalls and plateaus in Andhra Pradesh. It is not far than 10 km from Tirupati.

Description: Established in 1989, Sri Venkateswara National Park is both a national amusement park and nature reserve. The nature park is adorned by unusual splendor of flora, fauna and natural attractions. Encompassing the Seshachalam and Tirumala hills, this park is immensely beautiful. At every step you get a chance to view rare species, like slender Lorises, Golden Gecko, the Indian Giant Squirrel, Flying Lizards, Tree Shrew, Nilgai, Wild Boar, Leopards and Hyenas. Keep walking as there is so much to discover. So, take out your camera and gear up to capture stunning shots of diverse flora and avifauna. The Park offers a serene environment to get away from the urban life. Nature lovers, photographers and bird lovers, this place is no doubt perfect for all. After observing flora and fauna, it is time to discover the amazing waterfalls like Talakoma, Gundalakona and Gunjana. Overall this park is a beautiful mystery that one should explore.

Activities: Although the park remains open throughout the year, but the best time to visit would be November to January.
