Description: Hanuman Garhi is a famous temple, established by sage Neem Karoli Baba. It majestically stands at an attitude of 1,951 m, above sea level. Lord Hanuman, a Hindu deity, is worshipped by devotees in this temple. Devotees can view the beautiful statue of Lord Hanuman overlooking the Tarai valley. According to Hindu epic Ramayana, Hanuman was a great devotee of Lord Rama. To prove his deep love for Ram, Hanuman tore his chest open and everyone was stunned to see the image of Ram and Sita literally in his heart. The statue of Lord Hanuman in the temple depicts the same story. After worshiping, devotees can enjoy the mesmerizing view of mountains slopes covered with greenery of trees.
