Description: Kempty falls are one of the most crowded tourist attractions present in Mussoorie. These falls were developed in the year 1835 by John Mekinan, a British officer. This place probably derived its name from the words “camp tea”. During the pre independence era, British rulers used to organize tea parties at this place. Over the years these falls have been split into five parts. Falling from a height, these cascade make up for a beautiful sight. Kempty falls are visited all around the year by visitors.
