Hibiscus Garden is another garden in Chandigarh, which is an extremely popular tourist destination. Founded in the year 1996, this garden is located in Sector 36 which is fairly close to the major commercial sectors of the city. This garden, which is spread over 8 acres of land, was started with the objective of growing only different varieties of the Hibiscus shrubs. There are approximately 40 different variants of Hibiscus, which can be found in this park. Some of these shrubs are also planted in a variety of patterns and designs. With their year round blossoming, these Hibiscus shrubs also make for a wonderful visual and olfactory treat for those people who visit this garden and take a stroll along the paths which are laid out for their convenience. A great location to spend some fun time in the day with the whole family, the Hibiscus Garden is one of many attractions located throughout Chandigarh which tourists can visit.
