Extending over an area of 10 acres, this fine attraction of Chandigarh is well known as Terraced Garden. It was set up around 1979 and is located in sector 33 of the main city. The garden attracts huge number of tourists because of its lush greenery, skillfully designed trees and the illuminated musical fountains in its premises.

Terraced Garden is a main venue for the Chrysanthemum Show that is held every year with full pomp and show. The fine ambiance and wide-variety of plants present a compelling and impressive look of this garden.
However, its soothing environs and innumerable flowering plants are simply remarkable and one cannot keep his eyes away from. Locals often visit this park as well, as it is a nice place for planning a picnic with friends and family.
