Leisure Valley of Chandigarh is a very popular place, not only among the tourists who are coming to Chandigarh, but is a hot favorite among residents of the city as well. Leisure Valley is actually a composite of a number of gardens which spans across a large part of Chandigarh starting from Rajendra Park in Sector 1, going on till the Bougainvillea Garden in Sector 3, across sectors 10, 16 and finally culminating in Sector 23. This valley is basically a green belt that contains a large number of varying locations wherein tourists can enjoy the natural beauty of Chandigarh as well as a host of other exciting activities. The Leisure Valley is known for a number of open – air concerts which are held in this location, but most prominent of these events has to be the Chandigarh Carnival which is held here every year in February.
