Mundali is situated at a distance of 2.5 kilometers from Dharagarh and this place is surrounded by lush forest. Dehradun is at a distance of 129 kilometers from Mundali and at a distance of 36 kilometers from Charkata. There are other routes also that go to Mundali, which go through Dharagarh, Kathiyan and Kandaband. This place gives an extraordinary view of snowcapped mountains. Ski experts enjoy visiting this place and people who like witnessing snowfall also love to visit this place. In spite of being such a wonderful place it has one shortcoming; besides a tourist rest house this place does not have any other accommodation available for tourists. For staying in this rest house one needs to take permission from the forest department. Tourists from all over India visit this place for skiing as well as viewing the beauty of nature from here and Mundali is considered as a great attraction of Dehradun.
