Location: Barachukki and Gaganachukki Falls are twin segmented waterfalls originating from Kaveri River, when it gets divided in the town of Shivanasamundra.

Description: Barachukki and Gaganachukki Falls are segmented where the water flow of River Kaveri is more and it drops over a cliff in two channels. These are perennial waterfalls. Though the twin waterfalls are often mentioned together, but the Barachukki Falls is a few kilometers to the southwest of the Gaganachukki Falls. So you have a chance to explore two waterfalls at the same time. You can climb on the Shivanasamundra tower and enjoy a breathtaking view of eastern branch, Gaganachukki.
