Description: Designed and built by an architect, B. Kanagaraj Cangan, the Tsunami Monument is a blue colored statue that is 16 feet high and is constructed out of steel. This monument depicts a tsunami wave which is held in position by one hand and a lamp is positioned in the other hand. Constructed in the memory of those who lost their lives in the Tsunami that took place in 2006, this monument is visited by travelers in large number. People who survived this natural disaster visit this monument to pay homage to those who could not survive in this unfortunate incident.
