Location: Poornathrayeesa Temple is located in Tripunithura, which is at a distance of 10 km from South east of the Eranakulam city in the state of Kerala. The temple is merely 20 km away from the Kochi International Airport and can be reached by road or rail and even via means of a ferry.
Description: This famous holy temple was constructed by a renowned warrior, named Arjuna, of Mahabharata. Lord Vishnu is the main deity worshipped in this temple by the name of Sree Poornathrayeesa. Activities: The temple is known for its joyous celebration of the annual festivities. Vrishchikoitsawam is the main festival celebrated here in the month of November or December. Elephants are decorated and a parade is carried out on the fourth day of the celebration. A golden pot is placed on the platform and it is said that pilgrims who make contributions here earn good luck for life from Lord Vishnu. Athachamayam is another popular festival celebrated during Onam.
