Standing tall at a height of 1748 meters above sea level, Tadiandamol (also known as Tadiyendamol and/or Tadiyandamol), is the tallest peak situated in Coorg District and is the second highest peak in the state of Karnataka. This peak is well known as one of the most challenging peaks even among veteran trekking enthusiasts. This hill is situated approximately 35 km away from Madikeri and 8 km away from the township of Kakkabe. A majority (approximately two thirds) of the journey up the hill can be covered by a jeep but only drivers familiar with the hill and its terrain should attempt doing so. The final ascent has been described as particularly challenging by the trekkers who have tried but those tourists who are willing to push themselves and persevere to make it all the way to the top will be extremely pleased with the reward of the most beautiful sight of the surrounding natural grandeur.
