Situated at the foot of Pushpagiri Hills, Mallalli Falls are a part of Kumaradhara River. Plunging over 200 feet, these falls are a very popular attraction among tourists for good reason. The Mallalli Falls are located a little over 25 km away from Somwarpeth, but tourists who are planning to drive down to these falls will not be able to do so, since these falls are accessible only by foot as the path leading to this tourist destination is not currently wide or smooth enough to facilitate regular vehicular traffic. The best time to visit Mallalli Falls is undoubtedly the monsoon season since the river will be in full spate. In order to reach these falls, tourists can take one of the few buses which run to the nearest village, called Hanchinalli. Hiring a private taxi cab might be a more expensive, but comfortable choice for the same.
